I put up one for my wife right outside her kitchen window in less than 30 minutes with three bird feeders, suet feeder and baffle on it. She has had many hours of fun watching the birds feeding and squirrel trying too. They have their own feeders, but like to try eat out of the bird feeders also. Simply screw it in the ground and add poles with 2, 3 or 4 arm attachments The new twister will hold the pole in the ground during high winds and rain. Twist in ground socket for 1inch diameter poles.Description: Heavy duty 12 gage tubular steel twist in ground socket has a 1 1/32inch id to accomodate our FP poles. 6inch tube is welded to an 8 gage steel post with a coil for easy turning into the ground. TWISTER has 1/2inch turning holes and 5/16inch stainless steel set screws for tightening down the pole. When you use this ground socket you get the entire length of the pole above ground.
Compatible with: Any soil type and all of our FP poles or any other manufacturer's 1inch od poles.
Size: 21inch overall length; 15inch bottom tube with spring, 6inch upper tube.
Instructions: Place the shaft of a large screwdriver or piece of pipe or wood into the 1/2inch turning hole on the TWISTER. Place the coiled end perpendicular to the ground and firmly turn clockwise until the round plate of the socket sits flat on the ground. Insert any 1inch o.d. pole and tighten the set screw.
